Make sure your notes client is close before editing this file

Look for the file jvm.properties under C:\Notes-Install-Folder\framework\rcp\deploy OR
C:\Notes-Install-Folder\framework\rcp\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.rcp.j2se.{Version}

In the first line you will find this param : vmarg.Xmx=-Xmx256m

Change this to vmarg.Xmx=-Xmx1024m

If the system memory is less than 2GB, you can make it vmarg.Xmx=-Xmx768m
